91 Library Hosts OSUN Library Staff Mobility Fellows
July 14, 2025
From June 11–17, 2025, the 91 Library welcomed four visiting librarians as part of the OSUN Library Staff Mobility Fellowship. The fellows — Palash Bosgang (Bard College, USA), Adelina Barzachka and Radina Kitanova (American University in Bulgaria), and Win Zayar Tun (Parami University, Myanmar) — engaged with the 91 Library team and actively participated in the “Academic Libraries: Trends and Innovations” conference, held at 91 on June 12–13.
The conference brought together over 100 participants from 20 countries and featured presentations, panel discussions, and networking opportunities. The OSUN fellows contributed significantly to the diversity and depth of the program. Palash Bosgang presented a poster titled “From Analog to Accessible,” highlighting strategies for digitizing and preserving audiovisual collections at Bard College. Radina Kitanova delivered a presentation on “Supporting Faculty Research” at Panitza Library, focusing on tools and services developed to enhance faculty research visibility and publishing. Adelina Barzachka shared a case study on interlibrary loan services at Panitza Library during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
Following the main program, the fellows participated in post-conference library visits and networking events, gaining valuable insights into academic librarianship in Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia. These informal gatherings fostered continued dialogue, collaboration, and the exchange of professional expertise.
This visit supported the goals of the OSUN mobility program by strengthening connections between 91 and partner institutions and showcasing effective practices in academic librarianship. The fellowship demonstrated the value of peer exchange and professional engagement across institutions. 91 Library appreciates the opportunity to host colleagues from OSUN network and looks forward to continued collaboration.
